I. Overview

The HSJ-MC03 magnetic contact switch sensor is an electromagnetic device used for detecting the open/close status of various doors and windows. It can feedback the status signal of doors/windows, featuring compact size and easy installation and debugging. When used in conjunction with various acquisition devices or host computers, it enables remote monitoring of door/window status. With strong anti-interference and anti-vibration capabilities, it is suitable for doors and windows made of various materials (fire doors, swing doors, cabinet doors, rolling shutters, sliding doors, telescopic doors, etc.).

III. Communication Description

RS-485 Communication: Uses a standard RS-485 communication interface. The communication baud rate can be selected as: 2400bps, 4800bps, 9600bps, 19200bps, with a default of 4800bps. The 485 address is 01.

Modbus-RTU Protocol: The alarm status register address is 03, read using function code 03. The status is "0" or "1": closed ("0" indicates normal), open ("1" indicates alarm).
